Police are appealing for information after two shootings in West Dulwich in one day.
A 25-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder after an incident in College Road shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
The injured man was taken to a south London hospital for treatment to non life threatening injuries.
The police are still trying to establish the exact location of the shooting and the Trident unit is now investigating.
At 3pm the same day a 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital in a critical condition after he was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen in South Croxted Road. He was treated by paramedics in South Croxted Road before being taken to a South London hospital as a priority. His condition is now stable.
Police say it appears he was shot in the vicinity of Seely Drive, SE21, before he rode a short distance on his moped.
There had been no arrests at the time the News went to press and a police spokesperson confirmed that “enquiries continue into the circumstances of the incident and any possible motive.”
