Police are appealing for help in locating a vulnerable Rotherhithe pensioner.
Eileen Cadman, 80, was last seen in Lower Road at around 8.30am this morning .
She suffers from dementia and according to police is “very vulnerable.”
She is white, of medium build, 5ft 5ins in height and was wearing a short-sleeved burgundy jacket, long black jumper, black trousers and black footwear when she was last seen.
A police spokesperson said: “She has no oyster cards, freedom pass, bank cards or any cash. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Eileen should phone police on 101.”
Anyone know if Eileen Cadman was found ok and returned home??
Hi Dave. I’m very pleased to let you know that Eileen was found later that afternoon in Sloan Square. She had had a fall, but thankfully a lovely young couple came to her aid and took her by taxi to hospital where they stayed with her until we arrived and later enquired as to how she was doing. Eileen sustained a nasty bump to her head and a black eye, but both have now fully cleared up and she is doing great. Thank you for your interest (of course us Cadman’s stick together!!), and again special and huge thanks to Eileen’s saviours, Caroline and Sebastian, we’re externally grateful.
