Police swarmed on Albany Road on Monday evening after a woman was said to have been hit on the head with a cooking pot after a dispute over water.
Officers were called to the Calverton block of the Aylesbury just before 8pm, after witnesses said one woman threw water over another woman and then hit her over the head with a kitchen pan.
The victim, said to be in her forties, was taken to hospital with a head injury. She was later discharged.
The police have made a number of arrests, though are unable to confirm how many at this stage, and all suspects have been bailed pending further enquiries.
