It was Mark Twain who famously said that truth is often far stranger than fiction - and over the years, many a strange tale has graced the pages of the News.

But what stranger a true story than that of a fifteen-year-old ‘Boy God’, with a passion for ice cream and The Man From U.N.C.L.E, who set up headquarters in a disused cinema in East Dulwich in the ‘70s.
