GATEWAY TO SUCCESS?

The LDA Gateway to Investment (G2i) scheme targets London-based early stage innovative and technology businesses.

It provides Venture Capital Funds, Venture Capital Trusts and Business Angels with a pipeline of attractive investment prospects. 
The scheme also actively supports early stage companies developing investment propositions through individual and group workshop sessions; provides entrepreneurs with a wide range of information, self assessment, diagnostic and business support tools; and provides ongoing assistance to businesses to help them achieve their objectives.

Your contribution
The first two stages, the 'Introductory Seminar' and 'Business Model Review' are free to London-based technology businesses. The latter stages of the programme require a financial contribution from the company. This will not total more than £1,100 and no success fee is payable by companies successfully raising investment.

he final stage will involve refining your business proposition. Working both directly and in peer groups with the G2i team you will develop your skills and capabilities so that you are in a position to make a strong and compelling presentation to potential investors and provide a detailed explanation of your business idea. And if your business has ticked all the boxes, we will make introductions to appropriated investor/s.
This programme is delivered through a consortium of private sector specialists led by Grant Thornton.
