At the start of the season the 'News' picked the three Surrey players we felt were ones to watch for 2007.

Out of the three we picked, the combustible Nayan Doshi left the club mid-season after a row with Alan Butcher; England U19 skipper Rory Hamilton-Brown was restricted to five one day appearances and decided to leave the club at the end of the season and Australian overseas player Matt Nicholson excelled on the pitch and impressed off it, winning the coveted 'Clubman of the Year' award at the end of the season.

Here are a few of the choice moments from another up and down season at The Oval.

MOMENT OF THE SEASON - Surrey smash the world record one day total by recording a massive 496/4 against Gloucestershire on April 29.

PLAYER OF THE SEASON - For reasons outlined above it is impossible to look past Mark Ramprakash.

DISCOVERY OF THE SEASON - Dulwich College teenager Chris Jordan burst into the first team late in the season but impressed all who saw him, taking 20 wickets at an average of 24.50 and also averaging a useful 24.25 with the bat.
