9 April 2008 A NEW ITALIAN restaurant is opening up in East Dulwich.

Locale, which already has restaurants in Blackheath, County Hall and Fulham, is opening it doors on East Dulwich Road. The 75 seater restaurant will also feature a cocktail bar and a front terrace for summertime outside eating.

Commenting about their impending April opening, proprietor Mark Elphicke added: "Our Head Chef Paolo Barone and I are really excited about opening our new restaurant in such a vibrant area.  East Dulwich has a great community vibe and we look forward to offering residents, Locale's great range of authentic Italian food and wines to play our part in the local community".
