Round 1
Instantly there is more action in the first round than when Haye took on Valuev. He appears to be trying to get in closer and staying, in order to get shots off. However, despite this Haye struggles to get close and is thrown to the floor at one point. This is a familiar pattern throughout the fight.

Round 2
Haye sneaks the second with the more eye-catching shots, but Klitschko shrugs them off as the power Haye promised would shake the big man has little effect. The Ukrainian also tags Haye with good shots in return.
