FISHER SLIPPED to a 2-0 defeat at Canterbury City last weekend.
The home side took the lead in the fourth minute when Gary Mickelborough finished after being put through by Rob Lawrence.
Minutes later Nic Taylor just beat Mickelborough to the ball to prevent his side from falling two goals behind. Just before the break Fisher’s Harry Bugden had a chance to equalise but he fired his shot well off target.
A double substitution by Canterbury boss Ben Smith in the 65th minute proved inspired, with replacements Gary Clarke and Dave Pilcher combining before the latter slotted home his side’s second.
The result leaves Fisher second last in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division.
