Alistair Darling announced yesterday that people earning over £150,000 will see a rise in income tax. Do you think this is fair?
Yes, people should pay income tax on their ability to pay it. I think there should be more levels introduced.
Health watch dogs have reported 27 out of 51 hospitals did not meet required government standards of cleanliness. Does this reduce your confident in hospital staff?
Yes, I suppose it does. My daughter is a nurse, so I know that it's always a battle to fight infection.
These things have probably been going on undetected for years.
BBC has told Jonathan Ross to cut out swearing and sexual innuendoes when he returns next year. Is this a necessary precaution?
Yes definitely there's far too much profanity in the media and he doesn't set the standard for children.
The government intends to supply police with taser stun guns. Will this help police?
Yes it more than likely will. Police don't always have a lot of knowledge about the people they come into contact with. Anything that allows them to apprehend criminals and temporarily incapacitate them is the best thing.
