MAN ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ASSAULT

An Italian man was remanded in custody from court, facing charges of sexual assault and causing actual bodily harm against a woman in Walworth in December.

Ricco Gaziano, 28, of no fixed abode, appeared at Tower Bridge Magistrates’ Court and will re-appear to be committed to the crown court on April 23 over the alleged sexual and physical assault in Albany Road on December 18, 2008. Gaziano is expected to be committed to the crown court on May 1.
