What do you like best about Southwark?
I've lived in Rotherhithe for twenty years and there are lots of friendly people who live in the borough. The estate where I live used to be pretty rough, but it's a lot better now that it's been rebuilt.

Where is your favourite place?
I really enjoy the Bingo at Surrey Quays - I've got a few friends who go there. And we've been going to  Starburger café in Bermondsey for years. There used to be bingo round there but it's closed now.

What would you like to be changed about the borough?
I think there should be more shops on the streets - it would save us going out to the shopping centres all the time.
There are too many hair dressers and bookies on Southwark Park Road.  How many do you need?

On Sunday, Labour's Deputy Leader Harriet Harman suggested a new law could be introduced to force a reduction in ex-RBS chief executive Sir Fred Goodwin's £600,000 pension. Should Sir Fred be made to accept a lower amount?
You can't really take it back off him once he's got it, but I think it should be stopped now. No one else should get so much. No one can spend that much money anyway. People like him should come and live with us and see how we get by on what we get as pensioners, which is a pittance.

It was revealed last week that more teenage girls got pregnant in Southwark in 2007 than anywhere else in the UK. Why do you think that is?
I blame the government for this.  You can't get a council house round here these days without being pregnant.
And the more kids they have the more benefit they get, and then they don't have to go to work.
The government should do something to stop that happening.
