A competition is raging online among sarf Londoners: which of their parks are the best.
A dedicated online competition is seeking to find which park south of the river is the king of kings among London parks south of the river.
Some of Southwark’s entries have already been discounted.
Burgess Park lost in the first round, and Southwark Park was bested by Crystal Palace in the second round.

The competition is now in the quarter-finals stage, with both Brockwell and Peckham Rye still in with a shot of winning the accolade.
