A South London man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Justin Bello, 38, whose body was found dumped in northwest London.
Stasious Scott, 34, of Fishlock Court, Stockwell, appeared at the Central Criminal Court on Monday, March 27. He has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.
He had been arrested in Jamaica on Tuesday, January 24, and brought back to the UK on Thursday, March 23.
Scott appeared alongside Robert Shorter, 46, of Ranelagh Road, Wembley, who was arrested in December 2019 and later charged with perverting the course of justice.
The body of 38-year-old Justin Bello from Croydon was found in a communal area near the back of Lovett Way, Neasden, near the Wembley Stadium in north-west London, at around 8.16am on November 25, 2019.
Justin was reportedly found stripped and dumped in a bin shed.
A provisional trial date for both men is set for September 2023. Scott was remanded in custody.
The Met Police has said that Justin’s family are aware of these developments.
