An eighteen-year-old from Vauxhall has been charged with the murder of Shane Jerome.
Brandon Aldon McNeil, of Lollard Street, was charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Friday (July 30).
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (July 31) and was remanded in custody. He will next appear in court on Tuesday, August 3, at the Old Bailey.
Twenty-three-year-old Shane, from Thornton Heath, was found stabbed outside Brixton tube station on Wednesday, July 21. He died at the scene.
Two other people have been arrested during the course of the investigation. A seventeen-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons was arrested on Thursday, June 29 and bailed until mid-August.
A nineteen-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm has since been released with no further action.
