I Love Bermondsey event will be held on Saturday, 8 February featuring food and drink by local businesses.
Bermondsey has become a hotspot for creative businesses – where the dreams of designers and independent producers have flourished into successful businesses in the heart of SE1.
The Sunday Times has chosen the district as one of the best places to live in the capital for the past five years.
At its heart, London Square Bermondsey, a new ?£220m neighbourhood by award-winning developer London Square, is taking shape close to all the attractions of Bermondsey Street, a 12-minute walk to London Bridge station and the Thames, with tube and national rail, Thames Clipper, cycling routes and good bus links.
London Square Bermondsey is hosting a Love Bermondsey event on Saturday 8th February from 12 noon until 4pm in the sales suite at 58 Grange Road, Bermondsey, to showcase some of the best of independent businesses in SE1. Brassbound will be providing the soundtrack at the event, with an amazing live set.

The tantalising smell of freshly baked bread will be on offer at the event from Comptoir Gourmand, which produces delicious breads and pastries every day from its kitchen under the arches in Maltby Street, Bermondsey.

Flakies Fashion was created by Fola in 2016. She specialises in using handmade authentic Ankara prints in contemporary, stylish and funky clothes. Fola will be curating a collection of her designs at the event.
Also taking part will be Tower Tandoori, one of London’s oldest Indian restaurants. Tower Tandoori will be providing a mouthwatering feast, reflecting the cultural diversity of India.
Jensen’s Bermondsey Gin produces the classic London Dry style – distilled in a converted railway arch and will be on offer at Love Bermondsey. Serving up craft tonic at the event will be The Bermondsey Mixer Co.
Bermondsey Fayre, a boutique selling locally made clothes and independent designers’ works, plus yoga studio.
Tannery Arts will be exhibiting at the Love Bermondsey event. The charity supports the professional development of emerging and established artists and curators.
Now 70% sold, the first phase of London Square Bermondsey is The Tannery and The Crosse Buildings, featuring a striking new building, and the restored warehouse, to create apartments and duplexes. It was also the home of a Crosse & Blackwell Branston Pickle factory, being converted into stunning homes, with galleries and studios for Tannery Arts, work spaces, leafy squares and green spaces as part of the 4.7acre redevelopment.
