A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a Woolwich teenager at the start of this week.
Tamim Ian Habimana, also 15, died of stab wounds in Woolwich New Road on Monday evening (July 5) shortly after 6pm.
The boy charged with Tamim’s murder was arrested on Thursday, 8 July. He has also been charged with the attempted murder of another 15-year-old and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Saturday, 10 July).
A 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old-boy, who were both also arrested on suspicion of Tamim’s murder on Friday (July 9), remain in custody at a south London police station.
