Police and paramedics were called to break up a fight in Rotherhithe on Saturday morning (September 4) that left a middle-aged man with a head injury.
The incident took place on Silwood Street at the junction with Rotherhithe New Road just after 7am on Saturday. The man whose head was injured did not need to go to hospital. Officers are still looking into the fight and nobody has been arrested.
A spokesperson for the Met said: “Police were called at 07:05hrs on Saturday, 4 September to reports of a fight involving a group of people at the junction of Rotherhithe New Road and Silwood Street, SE16.
“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. A man aged in his 50s was found with a head injury. He did not require hospital treatment.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 1677/04Sep.”
