Police are calling for witnesses to come forward to help them after 60-year-old man was hospitalised with life-threatening injuries in a ‘hit and run’ case in south-east London.
The man was hit by a black SUV car that did not stop, in an incident on Vesta Road in Brockley on Monday. He was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
Police are trying to trace the vehicle and driver, and are particularly keen to hear from witnesses who have dash cam footage, or residents with CCTV cameras that may have captured images of the vehicle.
