An air ambulance was called to a climbing wall after a woman was injured during a fall.
Paramedics were called to The Arch Climbing Wall on Drummond Road at about 7.26pm on Tuesday, June 26, following reports of “a fall from height”.
A woman was treated for a leg and arm injury and taken to a major trauma centre.
Fred Stone, director of The Arch Climbing Wall, said in a statement: “I can confirm that an incident occurred resulting in injury.
“Our staff are trained to deal with such unfortunate situations and responded professionally. We hope that the person involved is now on their way to a swift and full recovery.
“Above all we would like to thank the London HEMS [Helicopter Emergency Medical Service] and the NHS for their tireless and essential service.”
