A man has been charged in connection with nine burglaries in Lewisham and Greenwich after a public appeal to trace him.
Desmond Mark, aged 51 (b.02.03.69) was arrested on suspicion of burglary by officers from the South East Basic Command Unit on Monday, November 30.
He was taken to a south London police station and was charged on Tuesday, December 1, with nine counts of burglary, possession of cocaine, and a racially aggravated public order offence.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 2 and was remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on January 5, 2021.
