Police have launched an appeal after a man sustained ‘life-changing’ injuries in a violent assault on London Bridge earlier this month.

The man was walking alone across London Bridge on Wednesday, May 15 at around 11pm when he was approached by two strangers and violently attacked.

Police believe the strangers crossed to the road to the west pavement of the bridge, towards the Barrow Boy & Banker pub and Borough Market after the assault.

Both are described as men in their twenties and of Middle Eastern or North African appearance, well-dressed and well-groomed.

They both had short hair, and one of them had short, trimmed facial hair.

City of London police urged anyone with information to contact them on 020 7601 2999, quoting reference number 19000248622.

Information can also be given anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
