An appeal has been launched after a man was attacked on a Jubilee Line train travelling between Waterloo and North Greenwich.
The incident took place at around 1.10pm on Wednesday, December 16.
The victim was on-board the train when two men and two women boarded the service and were arguing amongst themselves.
The group reportedly sat either side of the victim and were shouting close to him, resulting in a spittle landing on him.
The victim went to leave his seat, but was blocked by one of the men. After the victim asked not to be spat on, he was punched several times in the face, resulting in facial injuries and broken glasses.
Police believe a passenger on the same carriage filmed the incident on their phone, and would like to obtain any video footage that exists.
