After a fourteen-year-old was stabbed in Croydon, police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and say armed patrols have been stepped up in the area.
The teenager was found around 5.30pm yesterday evening (Wednesday, May 8), in Gloucester Road.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and is said to have ‘non-life threatening’ injuries.
He was attacked in broad daylight near Selhurst station but as yet no one has been arrested.
Police have called on people in the vicinity last night to recall whether they saw someone running away, or have any other information that could help the investigation.
You can either call 101 or – to report information anonymously – call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
