Bermondsey stabbing: police appeal for help after unidentified male killed at illegal rave

Police are calling for witnesses to come forward after someone was stabbed to death at an illegal rave in a south Bermondsey industrial estate last night (Saturday June 26).

The male victim, who has not been identified yet, was killed at the unlicensed music event at an industrial unit on Stockholm Road, near Millwall’s stadium the Den. Police were called at 11.50pm on Saturday night and attended along with ambulance crews. The victim was treated at the scene but died.

A murder enquiry has been launched. Police are trying to work out who the victim was and contact his family. A post-mortem will also be carried out.

Anyone who had been in attendance at the event is urged to call 101, and quote ref CAD 8848/26JUN. Detectives also need to hear from any other witnesses or anyone else with information that may help them with the investigation.
