An aspiring children’s author’s life will turn full circle on May 12 as she reads her book to children in the Blue Anchor Library on Southwark Park Road, where she spent much of her youth, write Alex Yeates…

Daisy Flowers, 52, will read her self-published book The Wee Beastie before donating a number of them to the library.

With a background in the music industry, numerous car accidents and health issues left Daisy unable to work, encouraging her to pursue a passion for writing.

Daisy said: “I’ve always wanted to write ever since I was little. I actually wrote this story when I was a kid but lost it. It was only when I was looking through an old box that I came across it and decided to do something with it.”
