A 60-year-old man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in Peckham on Tuesday (April 27).
Another 60-year-old was arrested for the attack on Cossall Walk, a few minutes from Queen’s Road, and is still in custody.
Colin Wingrove, the Met’s borough commander for Southwark and Lambeth, said: “Police were called at around 09:25hrs on Tuesday, 27th April to Cossall Walk, Peckham to reports of a stabbing.
“A 60 year old man was discovered with a stab wound and taken to hospital where he remains in a life threatening condition.
“A 60 year old man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody where he remains.”
