A care home will soon be made home to disabled people rather than the elderly, after the charity running it decided to change its use.
The home for elderly men in Grosvenor Terrace, will be refurbished as a support centre for people with learning disabilities and autism. The building had been closed since beginning of March.
But a spokesman for the care home’s managing body, the Brandon Trust, said: “The people that were living in our care home have now all moved on to live in their own flats in Southwark, with support tailored to meet their individual needs. ”
