Camberwell’s new Lidl store will open on Thursday, November 28, the supermarket has confirmed.
Customers are invited to join the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8am, where they will have the chance to sample products throughout the day.
Lidl says exclusive deals and offers on selected products will be in place for the first week of opening.
A tool sharpening station (£6.99 RRP £12.99) from Thursday, November 28
A bike work stand (£12.99 RRP £24.99) from Friday, November 29
A toaster and kettle set (£19.99 RRP £49.99) from Saturday, November 30.
The store, opening on the site of the former Peacocks in Denmark Hill, has created 40 new jobs.
It is 600 square-metres and includes an in-store bakery.
Lidl’s head of property, Henry Neel, said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in bringing this new Lidl store to Camberwell.
“It is great for us to be able to create more jobs and investment opportunities in the area, and we can’t wait to start serving our multi-award winning products to the local community.”
