Camberwell scouts braved the elements last weekend as they took part in a number of outdoor activities for the annual Winter Camp in north-east London.
Members of the 3rd and 5th Camberwell scout groups joined thousands of others in Gilwell Park for a weekend of archery, crafts, water activities, orienteering, quad bikes, go-parks and campfire fun.
Hebe Barber, 11, from the 5th Camberwell scout group, said: “The camp had been really fun. I had 8 hours of sleep!”
Nicholas Mitchiner, 10, said: “The camp was really good. The best thing was being able to camp with your friends. My favourite activity was the games room. The mud was wet.”
