Courses in construction are being offered to young people who have been involved in crime.
The Construction Youth Trust is offering the free six day courses to fourteen to 30-year-olds. The course is also open to young people deemed at risk of offending.
Learners from south London will be prioritised, although all applications are welcome.
Courses include practical sessions in carpentry, tiling, painting and decorating, and plumbing, as well as OCN Entry Level 3 in Health and Safety.
The courses run in December from 9.30am to 4pm, every Thursday and Friday for three weeks on Thursday 3 and Friday 4; Thursday 10 and Friday 11; Thursday 17 and Friday 18.
They will be held at the Construction Youth Trust Training Centre, Drummond Road, Bermondsey, SE16 4EE.
