Trading Standards teams have made at least 150 checks in Southwark since the last week of March after lockdown legislation was brought in.
Although the majority of businesses are complying, according to papers seen by the News, 124 complaints were made by the public from March 27- Wednesday 16, though it is not known if all, or how many of these, are COVID-19 related.
Southwark Council has given four warnings and it is believed the police have also intervened in several cases with two prohibition notices served.
