Although the London Marathon was cancelled, that didn’t stop keen runners from finding their own way to work out for a good cause.
Thirteen households from Camberwell ran the equivalent of the London Marathon around their square to raise funds for St Giles’ Food Bank on Sunday, April 26.
Each family had to complete 50 laps around Vestry Mews in their designated time slot to make up 639 laps in total.
In under 24-hours they raised £1,500 – and have now surpassed £3,000.
