Woman tagged and under curfew after GP attack

A woman who swore and punched a doctor has pleaded guilty to assault by beating.

April Regina Thompson, 22, attacked a doctor at Surrey Docks Health Centre on January 30.

The dance teacher, of Bonding Yard Walk in Surrey Docks, became agitated when the doctor argued that her emergency appointment was unnecessary.

Thompson appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court on February 19.

She was ordered to obey a tagged curfew and will not be allowed out of her house between 7pm and 7am for three months.

She was also ordered to pay £245 in fines and costs.
