Police are treating the death of a 41-year-old man, who was found dead at this home in East Dulwich on Friday April 28, as ‘unexplained’.
The Met confirmed that police officers forced entry into the man’s house in Goodrich Road, by the junction with Donkey Alley.
Officers were called at 12:23pm “following concerns for the welfare” of the man, raised by neighbours.
He was found unresponsive and the London Ambulance Service was called. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at 1:20pm.
Neighbours who spoke to the News described him as “quiet and private”. One said he “kept himself to himself”.
Formal identification and a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
