Detectives have made a fresh appeal for help with their investigation into the fatal stabbing of Wimbledon man Daniel Namanga in Peckham.
The nineteen-year-old, also known as Loni, was declared dead at the scene in Ilderton Road, off Old Kent Road. Police and paramedics were called at 2am, and had battled to save his life.
Nine men and women between the ages of nineteen and 25 were arrested. One man has been charged with murder.
Appealing to the public, detective inspector Domenica Catino, said: “I would ask anyone who has information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to speak to my officers or call police – this could prove of vital assistance to the investigation.”
A post-mortem carried out on August 9 concluded that Mr Namanga had been killed by a single stab wound to the chest.
