Dulwich Hamlet fans were celebrating on and off the pitch earlier this month when they raised £4,181 for charity at a special fundraising match.
The league game on October 3 was promoted as a special ‘pay-what-you-want’ fixture, where fans chose their own ticket price.
The final tally was announced this week, with all proceeds going to Walworth charity Cooltan Arts and the British Heart Foundation.
Dulwich Hamlet community spokesman Mishi Morath said: “I shouldn’t be amazed, but each and every time we have an appeal for something I really am amazed at the response from our fans. It really makes me proud to be a Dulwich Hamlet supporter”
