The annual festival that celebrates the best of the Elephant and Castle will once again bring exciting times to the area.
With live music from the up and coming local band the Elephants and Castles and the Lucky Dandy (Nigel of Bermondsey), photo exhibitions, spoken word performances, guided walks and DJ sets by local legend Natty Bo and Stewart Who?, the festival promises to delight locals and visitors.
Festival Director Rob Wray said: “Every year we aim to showcase the best that the Elephant has to offer and help restore the area to its former glory as the ‘Piccadilly of the South’. This year we’re going back to our roots; it’s a smaller festival and all the events are free.”
