A family fun day will raise money in memory of a much-loved DJ who died of lung cancer – despite never smoking.
Stevie ‘Faze-II’ Wonder sadly died from lung cancer in August last year at the age of 52.
The popular father-of-two was well-known in the area for DJ-ing at school events, birthdays, and private parties.
His wife, Mandy Cooper-Walters, has organised a family fun day at Bacon’s College on what would have been his birthday on Saturday, April 29.
All donations will go to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, which helped Stevie financially after his diagnosis.
The event will be held at Bacon’s College, in Timber Pond Road, SE16, from 1-6pm on Saturday, April 29.
Families can expect fun activities including basketball, rounders, tug-of-war, and arts and crafts.
