Seventy firefighters brought a hotel blaze near Tower Bridge under control this evening.
The fire, which appears to be at Tooley Street’s Hilton, broke out shortly after 5.30pm on Friday, June 4.
Part of a tenth floor room was alight. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries.
Station Commander Paul Morgan said: “Crews worked quickly to contain the fire and stop it from spreading further.
“Crews are expected to remain on scene throughout the evening.
