Hollywood actor and former artistic director of the Old Vic theatre, Kevin Spacey, faces four charges of sexual assault in the UK.
He was artistic director for the Waterloo theatre for eleven years between 2003 and 2015. The alleged sexual assaults are said to have taken place in this period.
The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised detectives to charge him with two counts of sexual assault on a man, who is now in his 40s, in March 2005 in London.
Spacey was also faces charges of two counts of sexual assault on separate men in their 30s. One of the alleged assaults took place in August 2008 in London. The other allegedly took place in April 2013 in Gloucestershire.
Spacey, 62, has also been charged with causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent. This relates to the same alleged victim as the London sexual assault charge in August 2008.
The Old Vic said it did not comment on ongoing legal procedures.
