A fourth man has been charged with the murder of Lavaun Witter.
Twenty-five-year-old Alex Pasley from Coulsdon’s Paxton Grove was arrested on Monday (March 29) shortly before midnight.
He was taken from an address in Sutton into custody at a south London station and charged the following day with Lavaun’s murder, the attempted murder of a sixteen-year-old boy, and possession of a bladed article.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, March 31).
Lavaun, aged 22, was fatally stabbed outside a block of flats in Croydon’s Wisbeach Road on February 5.
Three other people have been charged in connection with the Peckham man’s murder.
They are Tyreece Riggon, 20, from Armistice Gardens in South Norwood; 22-year-old Julian Russell from Sanfield Road in Thornton Health; and Tyreece Wolfries Parkin, from Rothesay Road in Selhurst.
They will appear at the Old Bailey on May 10 this year.
