You can go see a free exhibition of paintings at Surrey Quays shopping centre this week (Thursday June 23-Sunday, June 26).
The exhibition shows works by French artist Suzon Lagarde, who has been featured on Sky and won two awards from the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.
She said: “I’m incredibly excited for the show. Through the paintings I’m opening up about various facets of myself and allowing myself to be vulnerable. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share what comes from my heart.”
The exhibition is taking place at the Art of Isolation unit at the shopping centre, run by resident artist Rod Kitson.
Rod said: “I’m really excited to make more use of my unit at Surrey Quays as an exhibition space. By giving other artists the chance to display their work, we can bring even more to our local community. Suzon’s figurative pieces are extremely impressive and explore a range of emotions that local residents are sure to identify with.”
