A young funeral director raised thousands of pounds for mums with cancer at a fundraiser on Saturday night.
Gary Valentine Fuller set up the MumMum Foundation after his nan died a year and a half ago from cancer and has now raised enough for it to become an official charity.
The packed event held at Dulwich Hamlet football ground saw one of the foundation’s trustees have all her locks lopped off for the cause, before the MumMum foundation’s adopted theme song – That’s What Friends are For – was played live, giving everyone a chance to remember those they have lost to cancer.
“Me and MumMum used to dance for hours to that song. I carried her into the crematorium to that lovely song,” said Gary, who raised a total of £2,450 on the night.
