Notre Dame Roman Catholic Girls’ School says its GCSE results show ‘very good progress and achievement’ as 64 per cent achieve grade 4 and above in English and Maths – equivalent to a C and higher.
Overall, 66 per cent of students from the Elephant and Castle secondary attained Grade 4 and above in Maths, and 87 per cent the same in English.
Fifty-four-per-cent of students achieved at least one GCSE graded 7,8 or 9 – the equivalent of an A or A*.
Science had a particularly strong set of results, with every single student taking home a grade 5 or above in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Top achievers include Alesha Ibeji, who received six Grade 9s, three 8s, and one 7, and Chimdinma Agazie, who gained five grade 9s, three 8s, and one Grade 7.
