Pupils from The Charter School North Dulwich have excelled in their GCSEs after a fantastic day of results.
Eighty-two-per-cent of students in Year Eleven gained a standard pass in both English and Maths (Grades 5-9) and 67 per cent achieved a strong pass (Grade 5-9).
When it comes to the top grades, 44 per cent of all GCSEs awarded this year were 7-9s.
Head teacher Christian Hicks said: “We are extremely proud of our Year Eleven students for their perseverance and commitment to excellence over the past two years that has led to these fantastic results.
“We are also very grateful to our teachers and support staff, as well as to parents and carers, for their hard work and support which has led to these positive outcomes for our pupils.”
Students with exceptional results include Sahar Abedipou, who was awarded ten GCSEs, nine at Grade 9 and one Grade 8; Sarah Challen Flynn, who also got nine Grade 9s and one Grade 8, and Florence Hopkin Monk, and her hail of eight Grade 9s, and two Grade 8s.
