GCSE Results Day: Kingsdale says this year’s results are some of its ‘best ever’

Kingsdale Foundation School’s head teacher says this year’s overall GCSE results are some of its ‘best ever’.  

“We have many excellent individual and collective achievements to celebrate as a result of the incredible dedication and hard work of students and staff over the previous two to three years,” Steve Morrison said.

“More than ten students achieved at least nine grade 9s and over 100 students achieved four or more grades 8 and 9.

“Our examination outcomes indicate that almost 90 per cent of students achieved a good or better pass in both English and Mathematics and nearly 50 per cent of the cohort achieved a strong pass in the English Baccalaureate.

Amelia Mitchell achieved 8 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s.

 

Anaya Shah was awarded has achieved eleven grade 9s and one grade 6.

 

Elyse Brassard with her six grade 9s, four grade 8s and one grade 7.

 

Indigo Proctor gained ten grade 9s and one grade 8

 

Joshua Carpenter received 7 grade 9s, three grade 8s and a grade 7 at GCSE.

 

Natasha Chan was awarded 11 grade 9s.

 

Rosie Pierce celebrates getting 8 grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7.
