Has your New Year’s fitness resolution already run out of gas? Mechanics Kwik Fit are trying to get the borough’s residents back on track, with a series of exhaust-ing work-out sessions in the New Kent Road this month.
The free 30-minute lessons will use just car and van tyres, bringing a whole new meaning to tiring yourself out. They will involve tyre flips, lifts and throws, and have been devised by Kwik Fit technicians and personal trainer Mikah Simpson.
He said: “There’s no doubt tyres are a brilliant foundation to a work out – not only for lifting, but on the floor during cardio exercises. The most important thing when getting fit is to simply get started and do something you enjoy.”
