Free tickets are now available for the Southwark Park Fireworks Display on Sunday, November 5.
The tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis on Southwark Council’s website. Visit www.southwark.gov.uk/fireworks to get them.
The annual display was last year named one of the best in the capital by visitlondon.com.
Gates will open at 5pm, with food, drink and entertainment on until 8pm. Last entry to the park will be at 6.30pm. Ticket holders are strongly advised to arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
The council has said anyone planning to attend must book a ticket. But because of the risks associated with the night’s popularity, and the significant cost of bringing Southwark fireworks night to residents, those from outside the borough will have to pay a small fee.
