Police rushed to Southwark Park Road last night after reports of an ‘knife-carrying group of males’.
999 operators had been told that the men had been seen near the junction with Blue Anchor Lane at around 7.30pm.
A Met spokesperson told the News: “Police were called at approximately 19:35hrs on Friday, July 23 following reports that a group of males had been seen in possession of a knife in the vicinity of Southwark Park Road, SE16.
“Officers attended and conducted a search of the area.
“No suspects or a victim could be located.”
